A short story ...

Little girl and her father were crossing a bridge.
The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter,"Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river.

"The little girl said, "No, Dad. You hold my hand."
"What's the difference?" Asked the puzzled father.
"There's a big difference," replied the little girl."

If I hold your hand and something happens to me, chances are that I maylet your hand go. But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go.

"In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind, but in its bond.
So hold the hand of the person whom you love rather than expecting them to hold yours...

A tiny story conveys what a great message! Can a father's love for his little one be explained better?

this story reminded me of my numerous walks with my dad when i was little. i still remember how he used to hold my hand firmly and i felt so safe.:(

even now when we go for our walks,he often holds my hand and i turn 2yrs old again... :)

i miss my daddy! :'(

So true.Trust is something that we keep losing as we grow older - is it because of experience? or do we begin to rely more on ourselves that others?

Hi Keshi girl,

How are you? I hear the aussie's celebrate christmas by looking at their neighbours. ALL the houses are wonderfully decorated and it is a good time in OZ.

It seems you need NOT go to a MAll to see christmas, it is right there, next door, in australia...cheers!

Hello Usha,

Yes, trust gets difficult as we grow older. But ones we find that "trustworthy", its indeed a lifelong bond!

thankyou
